Russian state-controlled Rossiya TV channel is trying to explain away the Molotov – Ribbentrop Pact by claiming Poland was planning an invasion with Nazi Germany of the Soviet Union.

Here at Support Poland Ltd we are please to hear that Witold Pilecki, the only known person to volunteer to be imprisoned at Auschwitz concentration camp is to have a comic book written about him.  This Polish hero has received far too little recognition as far as we are concerned.

There are two news stories of interest.  The first is the Ukraine's security service chief has included Polish police alongside the Gestapo and NKVD.  During the interwar years Poland could have treated her minorities better, still it was nothing compared to the Holodomor in which up to 10 million died nor the deaths during World War Two put at over 10 million.  It is an insult to Ukrainians who died at the hands of the Soviets and Nazi to put Polish actions in the same sentence.
 
On a more positive note, the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) has voted for a remembrance day for the victims of both Nazism and Stalinism.  The Daily Mail, a major UK newspaper, states that OSCE considers the Soviet Union as guilty as the Nazi Germany for World War II.  The Russia's delegates walked out continuing their failure to recognise their part in the death of millions.
