Oceans of Hope

A few times a day the movie “Oceans of Hope” is shown in the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21 in Halifax. In this movie Polish Christians who hid a Jewish girl during WWII are depicted as her oppressors. The Canadian Polish Congress, the Polish Embassy in Ottawa and many individuals have complained about the movie to the Pier 21.

We have prepared a template letter for everybody who would like to complain. Please help us to address this libel by sending a letter to the Museum’s COO by mail (not e-mail). Then please send the copy of your scanned letter by e-mail to persons mentioned below the letter. We count on you.
